Poison spewing out from my own mouth
Sleep tight
Wake up, repeat
Fuck this cycle
Pure overindulgence
I can't stop
Wasted
Drowning my thoughts with liquid venom
My insides resent me and all my vices
But this elixir sums up all my tools and devices
My insides resent me and all my vices
But this elixir sums up all my devices
Call a medic, pull me out of the abyss
This is my SOS
Call a medic, pull me out of my own piss
This is my last chance
Hate to ruin your night or even worse your life
But you don't know what it feels like
You don't know where I've been
Scraped across, the ice is thin
Wearing my feelings on my chin
I can get that out with a glass of gin
I mumble in my sleep
Cus the conversations on repeat
My whiskey I take it neat
Puking in my sheets
What's wrong with my head
What's wrong
Lights go darker, balance falters
Breathing slows down, hit by black
Pull myself out from this, self-hate defines me, show me bliss
I'll fucking beat this, dig deep inside
Now find the backbone and hold on tight
Identify the culprit, it looks so fucking sad
It's time to end this, shut it down
Pull yourself together man, I don't need this as my brand
I can't believe I've been a slave unto this potion
I don't need this, shut it down

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego

Even for this genre the sheer intensity of this album always manages to floor me. Might not be the most unique album under the sun but it doesn't have to be; the performances are tight and ferocious, the songwriting is dynamic and explosive, the production is crushing, it's just all things to a mathcore fan. napalmsatan
