lyrics
Like a breach birth, complicatiokns are a must
Stop draggin your face across the concrete, shattered glass
Stop dragging your face, oh I’ve got answers for you
Everything’s too much, nothing’s enough
Nothing’s enough, everything’s too much
Sleeping on the edge of the knife, falling slow
Sleeping on the edge of the knife, falling towards the real you
Peel back all your wounds for the last time, find understanding
Understand your not yourself, you’re not yourself
As I miscalculate and evaporate
Into every though that holds you down because you bring it back
We’re left talking to ourselves, walking through this maze
Now run
Slipping through the cracks, I’ve always seemed to find my own way back
Open hands, softened mind
Clearing heart, broke trust
Taking a piece of one’s self just a little bit each time
Just enough to make one lose his mind
Failing on yourself
Dissect everything inside your brain
They’re going to hang you by your teeth and wait for gravity to pull you out from underneath
Who am I?
Bring death, renew, everything we thought
You lost yourself, now that’s the point
Bring Death
You have accomplished nothing here thus far
Bring the new beginning and everything we thought, renew
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
