How you love the past
When it's not coming back
Everything never lasts
But your heart's not made of glass
You disappear in a broken mirror
Crawling your way inside
You wear a mask despite the facts
We can see through your disguise
Can't let go
When the ropes tying you down
Drowning as you fall
Lost to the memories in the walls
Just remember saving yourself isn't selfish at all
Poisoned confessions
You promised you'd just walk away
Save yourself
There's no bring back yesterday
Save yourself
Tragedy strikes
Holding on to tombstones
Holding on
Don't let deaths shadow follow you
Don't let the past come with too
Be scared for the future, not the past
Be grateful for what you have
Drown your mind
Leave it behind
Move forward
Leave it behind
The past is a dark shadow
The past is not your shadow
Fuck

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego

Even for this genre the sheer intensity of this album always manages to floor me. Might not be the most unique album under the sun but it doesn't have to be; the performances are tight and ferocious, the songwriting is dynamic and explosive, the production is crushing, it's just all things to a mathcore fan. napalmsatan
